How daft is the 10 year engine freeze?
Thursday 25 Oktober at 15:59 : There is no doubt that the planned 10-year engine freeze announced this week will fail to please fans of The Pinnacle of Motorsport. Think about where engines were in 1997 - that is where our current engines will be in comparison to where they should be in 2017. How on earth the FIA still plans to call F1 The Pinnacle by then is an absolute mystery. So, go to hour home page and vote - is the engine freeze a bit stupid, very stupid or the actions of an old Max... erm, man, that is going completely senile and should have stepped down years ago?

it's a genius idea. These changes will drive down the value of Formula One to the point where Bernie can afford to buy out all the other shareholders before the value drops even further. Then the FIA will bring back engine development and slicks, and the value will go back up again.
