The 24-year-old's new mount is a Skoda Fabia, formerly raced by the Czech driver Jan Kopecky. Reports say Kubica, a Pole, made the purchase for "private tests and fun"

But rumours insist he may be planning a professional outing this year, possibly at the Rally Poland following next month's British grand prix
