Button, Barrichello, show off new team uniforms
Sunday 3 January at 16:01 : Jan.3 (GMM) The first photos of 2009 teammates Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello wearing the official gear of their new employers for this year have emerged.

Due to their contracts with Brawn GP that expired only after December 31, the pair's respective new looks had been unable to be displayed until 2010.

Reigning world champion Button's photo, showing him inside McLaren's car preparation area at the Woking factory, accompanied a New Year message posted on the team's website.

On Twitter, the 29-year-old Briton wished his followers a happy new year "from Hawaii".

Barrichello, meanwhile, posted his own photo to his Twitter page, showing the Brazilian wearing the 2009-specification overalls of the Williams team.

Also posted by the 11-time grand prix winner was a photo of his family vacation to Disneyworld.

The expiry of more 2009 contracts also meant images of Kimi Raikkonen wearing his new Red Bull/Citroen race suit emerged, while the Spanish media said Fernando Alonso's Ferrari deal has now officially come into effect.
